His love for music is a driving force behind his DJ journey. When asked what he hopes to bring to the local scene, he enthusiastically said, “I really just want to bring energy and music that people can’t help but vibe to, but I would love to see and be part of a resurgence of the hard dance scene in Southern California. I’ve always been very passionate about this music and if there was ever a movement that I wanted to be part of, this is it!”
Aftershark’s favorite thing about hardstyle? It’s all about the energy and connection it creates on the dance floor. He loves how the powerful beats and infectious melodies bring people together, igniting a sense of unity and euphoria among ravers. For him, hardstyle is more than just music; it’s a shared experience that transforms any gathering into an unforgettable party.
Meet INØCHI
INØCHI is an Ohio transplant and seasoned raver with 14+ years of experience! From heavy melodic death metal to DDR breakcore, she’s always been drawn to hard music. Now a familiar face in the LA underground, she was inspired by epic sets from Basswell, Stan Christ, and DYEN to jump behind the decks herself!
Her influences? KØ:LAB, I Hate Models, 999999999, Carv, Holy Priest, Sara Landry, Clawz, Roentgen Limiter, and TNT—an incredible list! INØCHI masterfully blends hardstyle and mainstream favorites with tech-infused flavors like techno, techtempo, techtrance, and techcore. Get ready for her dynamic Hardstyle Invasion 3 set this October, where no track drops below 155 BPM!
When she talks about hardstyle, her passion shines: “I especially love hardstyle for the spine-tingling bass and crunchy kicks, and I’m super excited that old hardstyle sounds have become new again with hard techno.” Catch her energy and be part of the vibe!
Meet Data Drain
He is a hardstyle artist from San Diego who’s been shaking up the scene since 2009. When he hits the decks, you can expect a high-energy mix of reverse bass, hard psy, hard techno, and gated kicks that will keep you moving. At Hardstyle Invasion 3, he’s thrilled to showcase not only his original tracks but also some exciting new unreleased music!
His journey began in high school after he stumbled upon the Melbourne Shuffle Compilation 3 video, which sparked his passion for hard dance. He quickly dove into DJing, snagged a residency at a local club, and even had the chance to perform at Basscon shows alongside some amazing artists. A standout moment in his career was earning a scholarship to a music production school, which really boosted his skills. Inspired by legends like Showtek, TNT, and DJ Isaac, you can always count on their tracks to make an appearance in his sets.
What does he love most about hardstyle? He passionately shares, “The bassy, high-energy kicks and old-school rave sounds/vibes! Hardstyle bridges the old-school rave scene with the new because it brings the energy, vibes, and sounds to the new generation of ravers.” So get ready to experience that energy firsthand!
Meet Kygore
Kygore is a stand-out in the hardstyle scene and is known for his intense beats and euphoric tracks, including his own hits from labels like Dirty Workz and RAVE’N RECORDS. His sets are a dynamic mix of rough, hard-hitting rhythms and uplifting melodies. True to his unique style, he often performs in a cat maid outfit, as he proudly proclaims on Instagram: “I’m the cat maid that plays some of the hardest music you have ever heard! 150-220 bpm!” After rocking our inaugural Hardstyle Invasion event, we’re thrilled to welcome him back for Hardstyle Invasion 3 on October 5th.
Kygore has been a rave veteran since Nocturnal Wonderland tickets were just $20 in 1998. A highlight of his career was performing at a Basscon show before the end of 2023. He’s since taken his electrifying performances nationwide and continues to rise in the scene.
He stated in an interview with SDHZ once, “I love music and I love to not only play it but also, I like to make it because when people listen to my tracks, I can see their reactions to how they like it or they don’t like it, whichever. It’s just nice to see people saying, oh my God, this is sick. And it’s a good feeling.” Catch his resonating energy personally at Hardstyle Invasion 3!!
Meet Bass Of Spades
Straight outta Brooklyn, Bass Of Spades embodies the mantra: “Why stick to one genre when you can obliterate them all?” As a proud advocate of genre anarchy, he recently unveiled an electrifying collaboration with Bad Grizz on the FVCK GENRES label. With an impressive resume, Bass of Spades has shared the stage with legends such as LNY TNZ, Audiofreq, Code Black, Toneshifterz, Rob Gee, Devin Wild, Adrenalize, and Warface, bringing unparalleled energy to the hard dance scene. His performances are a testament to his ability to fuse different sounds, keeping the audience on their toes.
Imagine a roller coaster crafted by a mad scientist, where hardstyle meets dubstep, hard techno, hardcore, and even rock. That’s what you can expect from a Bass of Spades set—an unforgettable multi-genre experience that defies categorization. His unique approach not only entertains but also breaks down barriers between genres, inviting fans of all musical backgrounds to join in the chaos. This fusion of sounds creates a dynamic atmosphere that keeps the energy levels high and the dance floor packed.
Bass of Spades’ hardstyle journey began in 2019, inspired by high-energy sets from Gammer and Darren Styles. A pivotal moment occurred when he saw Rob Gee, Lady Faith, and Darksiderz perform B2B2B at Electric Zoo, solidifying his passion for the genre. He notes, “The best part about hardstyle is the community; it’s incredible to be part of a supportive environment where we hype each other up.” This camaraderie fuels his love for music, and he invites everyone to celebrate the vibrant hard dance family.
Meet The White Crayon
The White Crayon is bringing fresh sounds to the table, having recently ignited his passion for hard dance. During his sets, one can expect the relentless aggression and energy of industrial hardcore, rawstyle, and uptempo, along with some of the freshest IDs possible. He anticipates for us, “My music style leans toward darker tones, with destructive drops and experimental or emotional breaks. You can expect the filthiest kicks ranging from 160 to 200+ bpm without losing the emotional narrative that I intend to convey.”
Thompson’s greatest inspiration is DJ Ophidian, stating, “…whose ability to tell stories through emotional music theory and destructive sound design creates an experience I can find nowhere else.” His journey began during grad school in France, where he discovered hard dance music in 2022. He shares, “I fell in love with the scene and began learning to mix and produce later that same year.”
The White Crayon tells us, “What I love most about hardstyle is the unique ability of the music to convey a range of emotions with relatable aggression and energy, coupled with a community that truly understands and accepts my passion, energy, anger, and love.” Catch his universal energy at Hardstyle Invasion 3!
